Hello Dear Reader,
Eons ago, and with good intentions, the studio acquired several boxes of blank cards. A few ideas are in the works to relieve them of their unadorned exteriors. Strips of paper have been cut into one inch squares, then those cut in half diagonally. This was followed with research on 1/2 square quilt patterns, (perhaps the pattern research should have come first). The hope is to turn these plain Jane cards into noteworthy ones. With fond regards, Miss Hellebore

Hello Kind Visitor,
Last week Chicago saw near 70 degree temperatures, and snow mixing with magnolia blossoms. Today at the bird feeder the male goldfinches arrived wearing their bright yellow feathers, having abandoned their olive drab winter coats. In the studio spring is in full bloom. Pastel butterflies are fluttering onto garlands and notecards. Paper blooms are scattered around, and bright colored pinwheels are anticipating warm breezes. Here's for hoping, Miss Hellebore |
