Hello Dear Visitor
Flat files are large shallow drawers. The studio boasts a couple of sets, in them you will find paper, lots of paper. There is plain paper waiting for decoration, and paper that's already been fancied up. One drawer is marked 'project paper'. In it you will find marbled paper that is not quite up to snuff, seconds if you will. That's the drawer I open when I want to try a new project, no sense experimenting with the good stuff. Some projects work out others not so much. All my best, Miss Hellebore

Hello Dear Readers,
Cards have been made, patterns tried, and different adhesives used. If good intentions hadn't led to the purchase of 4 boxes of 30 blank cards, this would be a good start. Squares and triangles are fun to play with, adhesives not so much. I get messy with PVA, glue sticks just don't seem to work well and spray photo mount, which sticks bits of paper down nice and flat without gluey oozes, comes with toxic mist. I have sewn paper to avoid the whole adhesive issue, but that's not particularly practical when you're looking at 100 plus cards. Right now though I think I hear the lilacs and lilies of the valley calling me from the yard. Gotta go. All my best, Miss Hellebore |
